Overview

As the Director of Program Management at L3Harris Technologies, you will lead the strategic vision for the Integrated Systems & Encryption, Surface & Subsea Systems (S3) business area, with full profit-and-loss accountability. This key role involves managing and expanding maritime programs while ensuring exceptional execution and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic vision for the S3 business area
  • Manage and expand the Autonomous Capabilities portfolio
  • Lead a high-performing team of Program Managers and Engineers
  • Establish organizational direction and ensure adherence to company processes
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal functional teams
  • Oversee pipeline development and proposal management
  • Drive market-leading systems integration and innovation
  • Conduct reviews and coordinate approvals for major bids and proposals
  • Foster a cooperative, high-performance environment
  • Ensure accountability across the team

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
  • 15 years of experience in Aerospace & Defense market, with 7+ years in a senior management role
  • Cross-functional leadership in business development, program management, engineering, and operations
  • Experience with Navy acquisition process
  • Systems Engineering, Capture Management, and Proposal Management experience
  • Experience with Fixed Price contracts and EVMS
  • Active US Secret Security Clearance preferred
  • Proficient in SAP and MS Office
  • PMP Certification or working towards certification
