Overview

The Director of Product Management at MaxCyte, Inc. will be responsible for developing and executing a marketing strategy that aligns with the company's objectives to achieve business revenue and margin goals. This role encompasses managing product development and global strategy for technology products, consumables, and services while ensuring strong leadership and understanding of customer needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead strategic direction, planning, and execution to maximize product value.
  • Oversee product development and commercialization from concept to market.
  • Collect Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback to identify product needs.
  • Conduct market research to assess market size and conditions.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Engineering for product design and validation.
  • Direct marketing efforts and ensure successful execution of promotional activities.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and accountability within the organization.
  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance their capabilities.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree with 15+ years or advanced degree with 10+ years of experience.
  • Strong scientific acumen, particularly in cell and gene therapy or bioprocessing.
  • Experience in marketing and business plan development.
  • Proficient in forecasting, market share monitoring, and customer satisfaction measurement.
  • Skilled in developing scientific messaging for complex products.
  • Track record in aligning Product, Sales, and Marketing teams.
  • Experience engaging key opinion leaders (KOLs) and clinical stakeholders.
