Job Description

Overview

The Director, Product Line Manager for Advanced Packaging & Metrology at KLA will lead product strategy, lifecycle management, and market analysis for innovative semiconductor packaging and metrology solutions. This role requires collaboration across various teams and a strong understanding of advanced packaging technologies, aimed at driving customer adoption and meeting evolving market demands.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and own the product roadmap with technical direction and feature prioritization
  • Manage full product lifecycle from concept through end-of-life
  • Oversee project planning, scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation
  • Own product line P&L including revenue, margin, and cost structure
  • Drive balanced scorecard metrics of cost, growth, customer satisfaction, and innovation
  • Conduct strategic market studies and competitive analysis
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand needs
  • Lead customer engagement strategies through Field Marketing and Applications Engineering
  • Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations
  • Travel domestically and internationally (30-40%) for business needs

Required skills

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in product management or technical marketing
  • Deep understanding of advanced packaging manufacturing processes
  • Experience with PLM tools, financial modeling, and customer engagement strategies
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally
