Overview

As the Director of Wellness at SilverCrest, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors by promoting their physical, mental, and social well-being. This full-time position involves creating health and wellness programming tailored to individual needs within an Assisted Living Community.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement health and wellness programming for residents
  • Promote residents' physical, mental, and social well-being
  • Assess individual needs to provide a balanced approach to wellness
  • Lead and manage a team focused on wellness services
  • Ensure compliance with safety and health standards in wellness activities

Required skills

  • 2+ years of management experience in a fitness or rehabilitation setting
  • Experience with gerontology or special populations
  • Training in Aquatic Exercise & Aquatic Safety
  • Certifications in wellness areas (Parkinson's, Arthritis, and Balance preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus on fitness/wellness preferred
  • Team leadership skills
