Overview

The Director of Supply Chain Management at Amarx Search, Inc. will be responsible for the strategic execution of the supply chain function within a large defense technology company. This role requires a strong leader with extensive experience in supply chain management, particularly within the Aerospace and Defense industry, as well as an active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship due to government contract requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead cross-department project teams and manage supply chain functions across multiple sites.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies, vision, and performance metrics.
  • Oversee procurement processes and ensure alignment with government and corporate policies.
  • Manage a high-performing team of Supply Chain Program Managers.
  • Facilitate Supplier Development and direct organization-wide business strategies.
  • Collaborate with functional organizations to improve supplier performance.
  • Support new business pursuits as a subject matter expert on procurement matters.
  • Ensure risk management strategies are executed for critical procurement efforts.

Required skills

  • 12+ years of relevant experience in supply chain management
  • Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship
  • Bachelor's or graduate degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS contractual terms and conditions
  • Advanced skills in SAP S4 Hana
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and organizational skills
