Overview

The Director of Supply Chain Management at Amarx Search, Inc. is a critical leadership role responsible for the strategic execution of the supply chain function across multiple sites within the continental US. This position requires strong expertise in supply chain management, especially within the Aerospace and Defense industry, and demands a proven track record in leading high-performing teams and managing cross-department project teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the supply chain strategy across the division's business units
  • Provide significant support for procurement and proposals for programs
  • Manage procurement processes ensuring alignment with Government, Corporate, and Division policies
  • Identify and execute performance improvement initiatives based on industry best practices
  • Select, motivate, and lead a strong supply chain team
  • Support strategic new business activities as a subject matter expert
  • Ensure risk management strategies are implemented for critical procurement efforts
  • Oversee division supply chain performance to meet program and division objectives

Required skills

  • 12+ years of relevant experience in supply chain management
  • Active Secret clearance and US Citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Experience in Aerospace and Defense industry supply chain processes
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Expertise in FAR/DFARS contractual terms and conditions
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP S4 Hana systems
  • Ability to manage change and develop organizational culture
