Overview

The Director of Service at Marchay leads the Service team in delivering exceptional member experiences for a luxury travel service. This role involves performance management, training, and operational excellence to meet the needs of sophisticated travelers through effective service strategies.

Key responsibilities

  • Elevate the member experience and improve service standards
  • Manage resolution of complex member issues and service escalations
  • Oversee training, mentorship, and performance management of the Service team
  • Implement scalable processes to enhance service workflows
  • Manage strategic partnerships with luxury travel suppliers
  • Track and improve service performance metrics and member retention

Required skills

  • 8-10+ years of experience in luxury travel or related high-touch client environment
  • 5+ years as a luxury travel advisor
  • Leadership or mentoring experience
  • Experience in handling escalations and complex client situations
  • Knowledge of high-touch service expectations in luxury settings
  • Experience managing supplier relationships
  • Familiarity with Sabre is a plus
