Overview

Red River Commodities is seeking a Director of Sales for the Wildlife Division to lead their wild bird seed and poultry feed businesses. This role involves managing a team of National Account Managers and driving customer acquisition while ensuring profitable pricing strategies and execution across various channels.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead national sales strategy for wild bird seed and poultry feed.
  • Manage and develop a team of 2-3 National Account Managers.
  • Build and convert a robust prospect pipeline for new business.
  • Drive joint business planning with major retail partners.
  • Lead pricing strategy and profitability management.
  • Partner with Supply Chain/Operations to ensure inventory availability.
  • Establish customer review cadences and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Deliver accurate forecasting and quarterly business reviews.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
  • 8+ years of sales and/or commercial leadership experience.
  • Experience managing major national accounts.
  • Strong analytical capability and pricing strategy experience.
  • Proven leadership experience in team management.
  • Experience selling through retail partners and distributors.
