Overview

Proformance Builder Solutions is seeking a Director of Sales to lead revenue growth across Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. This role demands a field-focused leader who will actively pursue new builder accounts while managing a team of Regional Sales Representatives, blending both sales and leadership responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Prospect, pursue, and close new builder accounts in Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina
  • Manage and coach a team of 3-5 Sales Representatives to meet performance goals
  • Maintain executive-level relationships with decision-makers at builder accounts
  • Develop and execute a new business development plan aligned with revenue targets
  • Ensure CRM standards and pipeline health are maintained
  • Conduct regular job site visits and team performance reviews
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sales commitments
  • Analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities

Required skills

  • 7-10+ years in B2B outside sales
  • 3+ years in a player-coach or field sales leadership role
  • Experience in construction or building materials
  • Strong understanding of builder workflows and procurement processes
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics)
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to travel 50-70% across Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina
