Job Description

Overview

The Director of Quality for Developmental Services at United Counseling Service is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring the integrity, compliance, quality, and consistency of all Developmental Services programs. This position entails oversight of client services, documentation, regulatory compliance, and risk management practices, while collaborating with agency leadership and external oversight entities to maintain high service standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight of quality assurance and improvement across all Developmental Services programs.
  • Establish and enforce standards for quality, compliance, and documentation.
  • Lead and oversee the review of client records and service assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Develop and implement policies promoting best practices in service delivery.
  • Oversee training programs to ensure staff competency and compliance.
  • Provide regular reports to oversight entities and agency leadership.
  • Identify potential risks to service quality and client safety.
  • Collaborate with oversight entities and participate in necessary meetings.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in quality assurance and compliance.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and regulatory standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence change.
  • Valid driver's license and First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
