Overview

Join BSA Hospital as the Director of Quality & Patient Safety, where you will be responsible for leading the development and evaluation of quality, patient safety, performance improvement, and infection prevention programs. With a strong focus on compliance and clinical excellence, this role offers the opportunity to improve healthcare delivery in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of quality and patient safety programs
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
  • Promote a culture of clinical excellence and continuous improvement
  • Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for clinical outcomes
  • Drive improvements in infection control and healthcare quality

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related clinical field
  • Current Texas RN license (if applicable)
  • Certification in Infection Control (CIC) required or to be obtained within 12 months of hire
  • 5-7 years of experience in healthcare quality and infection prevention
  • Experience in a hospital or large healthcare system
  • Proven leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams
  • Master's degree in nursing or related field (preferred)
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) (preferred)
