Overview

The Director of Purchasing at Crew Carwash is responsible for leading the purchasing function as the company expands from 60 to 100 locations. This role involves managing vendors and contracts, serving as the primary negotiator, and guiding the Purchasing team while focusing on establishing efficient processes and governance.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, support, and develop the Purchasing team
  • Manage procurement systems and technology
  • Develop and execute procurement strategy
  • Oversee governance, policy, and contract management
  • Foster cross-functional partnerships
  • Engage in strategic negotiations and maintain key vendor relationships
  • Manage procurement for new and existing locations

Required skills

  • 10-12 years of progressive procurement and purchasing experience
  • At least 5 years of experience leading procurement teams
  • Experience in multi-unit retail, hospitality, or service industries
  • Vendor consolidation and cost savings expertise
  • Large CapEx procurement experience
  • Strong negotiation skills
