Overview

Quadrant Health Group is seeking a Director of Operations for their wellness center in Des Moines, Iowa. This role is designed for a strategic operations leader who will oversee daily facility operations, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and a safe environment for clients and staff. The position involves collaboration with the Executive Director and other staff to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and maintenance of the wellness center
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Provide leadership and training to operations staff
  • Manage procurement processes and resource allocation
  • Evaluate efficiency of business procedures and implement improvements
  • Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and external partners
  • Participate in hiring and staff scheduling
  • Conduct Health & Safety rounds and emergency drills
  • Maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries
  • Engage in marketing/networking activities as needed

Required skills

  • Experience in operations management, preferably in healthcare or behavioral health
  • Knowledge of substance use disorders and recovery resources
  • Understanding of Iowa regulatory requirements for residential behavioral health facilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage complex operational needs
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem resolution abilities
  • Basic computer skills for documentation
  • CPR/First Aid certification required
