Overview

Fusco Personnel is seeking a Director of Operations to lead and optimize key departments during a period of expansion for their client. This role involves overseeing various teams, managing budgets, and driving strategic initiatives in alignment with the firm's goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of non-legal departments including intake, records, facilities, office support, library, and administrative services
  • Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams, ensuring high performance and accountability
  • Translate firm leadership's strategic vision into actionable operational plans
  • Manage departmental budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation
  • Drive process improvements and change management initiatives across the organization
  • Oversee records management and compliance, including CLE/admission tracking for attorneys and paralegals
  • Collaborate with HR, General Counsel, and Executive leadership on firm-wide initiatives
  • Ensure efficient workflow, project tracking, and operational consistency across departments

Required skills

  • 8+ years of operations leadership experience
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive results
  • Strong skills in project management, budgeting, and strategic planning
  • Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred
  • Records management experience a plus
