Overview

Tandym Health is seeking a Director of Occupational Medicine to join a health services network in Long Branch, New Jersey. This role involves overseeing occupational medicine practices including pre-placement evaluations, health screenings, and managing work-related injuries.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-placement physical examinations and return-to-work clearances
  • Order and interpret diagnostic X-rays and laboratory results
  • Perform initial and follow-up assessments for work-related injuries
  • Administer medical surveillance and exposure treatments
  • Conduct health screenings, substance testing, and fit-for-duty evaluations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) or NJ Nurse Practitioner license
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Occupational Medicine
  • Valid CDS and DEA registrations
  • DOT certification
  • MRO certification
