Overview

The Director of Marketing Strategy and Operations at CoxHealth is a strategic role responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive growth and enhance the brand. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders, operational oversight of the department's marketing budget, and leading a talented team of marketers to ensure alignment with health system priorities.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead system-wide marketing strategy development across service lines
  • Collaborate with the VP of Marketing and Communications to implement marketing strategies
  • Oversee integrated campaigns and brand activations
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing marketing strategy team
  • Ensure cross-functional collaboration for consistent messaging
  • Co-manage the marketing budget and vendor relationships
  • Support the development of marketing analytics and performance dashboards
  • Enhance brand visibility and patient trust through high-impact campaigns
  • Act as a liaison between marketing and clinical/service line leaders

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, 8 preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with project management software, preferably FileMaker Pro
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience balancing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Experience working across a complex health system
  • Strong understanding of marketing performance metrics
