Overview

Cherry County Hospital is seeking a collaborative and experienced leader for the role of Director of Home Health and Employee Health Services in Valentine, NE. This full-time position involves providing strategic leadership and operational management for home health and employee health programs, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and team collaboration.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide overall direction and management of home health and employee health departments
  • Develop and implement policies and strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals
  • Lead interdisciplinary teams including nursing, therapy, and employee health staff
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and clinical departments
  • Oversee delivery of skilled nursing and therapy services in patient homes
  • Monitor patient outcomes, satisfaction, and care coordination
  • Direct employee health programs including screenings and immunizations
  • Ensure compliance with CMS, OSHA, and workplace safety regulations
  • Lead quality improvement and risk management initiatives
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in home health or employee health
  • Strong knowledge of CMS, OSHA, and healthcare regulatory standards
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality laws
