Overview

The Director of Fundraising Data and Systems at Metropolitan Ministries will play a critical role in enhancing donor relationships and supporting fundraising initiatives by managing and maintaining the donor database. This position focuses on ensuring data integrity, compliance with policies, and using data-driven insights to assist in fundraising efforts.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain donor database integrity and accuracy in Virtuous CRM+.
  • Develop and enforce data entry rules and documentation for best practices.
  • Support marketing and fundraising teams by providing data segmentation and analysis.
  • Create and maintain reports for fundraising, stewardship, and compliance purposes.
  • Provide training and support to database users on data management procedures.
  • Stay informed on nonprofit fundraising trends to improve database administration.

Required skills

  • Significant experience in data management and fundraising environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with Virtuous CRM+ database.
  • Advanced skills in querying, reporting, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook), and web-based research tools.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
