Overview

The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at Mayroad is responsible for performing financial planning, analysis, forecasting, and reporting to enhance the company's financial condition. The role involves working closely with senior leadership and the CFO to evaluate financial performance, develop budgets, and analyze investment opportunities.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform financial planning, analysis, forecasting, and reporting
  • Analyze historical and current financial data to enhance financial performance
  • Calculate and create investment models and proformas
  • Conduct market research and write data-backed reports
  • Lead design and enhancement of financial models
  • Collaborate with CFO to develop and monitor annual corporate budget
  • Track and report construction and development activity
  • Create documentation for investment capital and funding commitments
  • Drive process improvement and support monthly financial close activities
  • Evaluate financial performance against plans and forecasts

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of corporate-level business finance experience
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Financial modeling experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and other MS Office programs
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools like Power BI and SQL
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
  • Strong organizational skills and professional demeanor
  • Knowledge of financial instruments and market dynamics
