Overview

The Director of Environmental Services at SilverCrest will lead the environmental services team at an Assisted Living Community, focusing on ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability practices. This role emphasizes meaningful work, supporting seniors and fostering a culture of excellence within the facility.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure facility operates in compliance with industry standards
  • Lead and collaborate with the environmental services team
  • Oversee housekeeping and waste management operations
  • Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate effectively with accountability and problem-solving strategies

Required skills

  • Leadership experience in Environmental Services or Maintenance
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices
  • Class 1C Boilers license and Pool Operator license preferred
  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience in senior living or multi-family housing
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Professionalism in a senior living environment
