Overview

The Director of Environmental Services at Village Shores, an Assisted Living Community, is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability practices. This role involves leading a maintenance team and fostering a culture of excellence while providing resident-centered service.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure facility operates in compliance with industry standards
  • Lead and collaborate with maintenance team for efficient environmental services
  • Demonstrate a strong team-oriented mindset and multitask effectively
  • Communicate with focus on accountability and problem-solving
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail

Required skills

  • Leadership in maintenance or facilities management
  • Class 1C Boilers license and Pool Operator license (or willingness to obtain)
  • 2-3 years of experience in maintenance/facilities in senior living or multi-family housing
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Commitment to resident-centered service
  • High school diploma or GED
