Overview

The Director of Donor Engagement at the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) is a senior role focused on enhancing the philanthropic efforts of the SIR Foundation. This position is responsible for cultivating relationships with major donors, managing fundraising events, and developing strategic plans to grow the foundation's endowment and membership.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies for major gifts and individual fundraising
  • Cultivate and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and donors
  • Lead and oversee fundraising events such as the SIR Foundation Gala
  • Manage annual fundraising plans, goals, and budgets
  • Supervise development staff and coordinate fundraising efforts with other teams
  • Implement donor stewardship strategies and enhance donor communication
  • Foster relationships with board members and volunteers
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Donor Engagement Team
