Overview

The Gund Company is seeking a Director of Distribution and Expansion to lead and scale its multi-facility distribution network. This position aims to drive growth and efficiency while shaping the company's future expansion strategies across various locations.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the growth of TGC's enterprise-wide distribution business
  • Drive business development, sales, and supplier strategies across locations
  • Improve network efficiency, inventory performance, and cost structure
  • Partner with senior leadership on integration and expansion initiatives
  • Strategically execute TGC's distribution strategy
  • Integrate and scale new distribution activities
  • Enhance freight efficiency and inventory performance
  • Provide cross-functional leadership across business development, sales, supply chain, and operations

Required skills

  • 10+ years of experience in distribution leadership roles
  • Experience managing and developing multi-site distribution operations
  • Bachelor's degree in business, industrial manufacturing, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Proven business acumen with P&L performance and financial planning
  • Experience in distribution expansion and warehouse optimization
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple departments
  • Exposure to hybrid manufacturing/distribution environments
