Job Details We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Injection Molding Business Development Manager to join our team in the Contract Manufacturing space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastic sales, with a focus on medical device companies that need injection molding, micromolding, thermoplastic, liquid silicone rubber, and high-consistency rubber manufacturing services. You will have the opportunity to lead and grow our business, driving sales and developing new opportunities in the market. If you are a results-driven individual with a passion for innovation and a deep understanding of the injection molding process, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement effective business strategies to expand our customer base and achieve sales targets. 2. Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status. 3. Develop strong relationships with key clients to maintain a high level of service and client loyalty. 4. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative injection molding solutions for our clients. 5. Drive the sales process from plan to close, ensuring that all targets are met or exceeded. 6. Provide technical support and guidance to clients and the sales team. 7. Lead and manage the sales team, setting goals, and ensuring they are met. 8. Prepare and present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team. 9. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in injection molding and the engineering industry. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the plastics industry. 3. Proven track record in sales and business development in the injection molding sector. 4. In-depth knowledge of injection molding processes, including micromolding, thermoplastic, liquid silicon rubber, and high consistency rubber. 5. Experience selling to medical device OEM's. 6. Excellent leadership and team management skills. 7. Strong communication and negotiation skills. 8. Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain strong relationships. 9. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. 10. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. 11. Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and prospects.
