Overview

The Director of Business Development - Federal Health at Choctaw Global is a strategic leadership position aimed at driving growth in the Federal Health market. This role involves managing the full business development lifecycle, from identifying opportunities to securing contracts, while leveraging Tribal 8(a) advantages to strengthen the company's position in the federal landscape.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and execute business development strategy across Federal Health agencies.
  • Identify, qualify, and prioritize new opportunities in the Federal Health market.
  • Develop capture strategies and lead efforts through contract award.
  • Build and maintain relationships with federal program officials and contracting officers.
  • Lead proposal strategy and maintain a qualified pipeline for accurate forecasting.
  • Collaborate with operations, recruiting, and technical teams on solutions.

Required skills

  • Experience in federal business development and capture management.
  • Understanding of federal procurement processes and acquisition lifecycles.
  • Strong analytical and strategic reasoning skills.
  • Experience with FAR/DFARS, GWACs, IDIQs, and task order competitions.
  • Experience supporting SBA 8(a) or tribally owned businesses.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Minimum ten years of relevant experience.
