Overview

The Director of Business Development, Contingency Federal Operations at Choctaw Global is a senior leader responsible for driving growth in contingency operations, disaster response, and related markets across three subsidiaries. This role entails cultivating relationships with federal agencies and lead the business development lifecycle from opportunity identification to contract award, with a focus on leveraging the company's tribal 8(a) status.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead business development strategy across multiple business units
  • Develop and execute a unified federal market strategy
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities in relevant markets
  • Maintain expert knowledge of federal agencies and procurement processes
  • Shape capture strategies from opportunity identification to contract award
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with federal stakeholders
  • Lead proposal strategy development in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Manage opportunity pipelines and provide regular updates to leadership

Required skills

  • Experience in federal capture management and contract pursuits
