Overview

The Director of Business Development for Contingency Federal Operations at Choctaw Global is a senior leader responsible for driving business development activities across three subsidiary companies focused on contingency operations, disaster response, humanitarian assistance, and facility support. This role requires cultivating relationships with federal agencies and leading the full business development lifecycle to achieve each subsidiary's revenue objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead business development strategy across Choctaw Premier Services, Choctaw Defense Services, and Choctaw Logistics Solutions.
  • Develop and execute a unified federal market strategy leveraging 8(a) tribal status.
  • Identify and prioritize new business opportunities in disaster response and logistics markets.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of federal agencies and procurement processes.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with federal program officials and industry partners.
  • Manage opportunity pipelines and forecast revenues within CRM systems.
  • Lead proposal strategy development including win themes and pricing.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, recruiting, and technical teams.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in federal business development or capture management.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute business development strategies in federal markets.
  • Strong understanding of federal procurement processes and contract vehicles.
  • Experience supporting SBA 8(a) companies or tribally owned businesses.
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating opportunities based on strategic alignment.
  • Ability to build relationships with federal stakeholders and industry partners.
