Overview

The Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (FNIH) is seeking a Director for Mental Health within Translational Sciences. This role focuses on managing public-private partnerships aimed at improving understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of neuropsychiatric disorders, particularly major depressive disorder (MDD), through collaborative strategies in clinical research and regulatory engagement.

Key responsibilities

  • Convene and facilitate partners and experts to drive the scientific strategy for MDD programs
  • Oversee protocol development and execution integrating multimodal data
  • Establish governance structures and working groups for alignment and accountability
  • Develop regulatory strategies in collaboration with agencies like FDA and EMA

Required skills
