Overview

The Director, Institutional ETF & Solutions Distribution at BMO Financial is responsible for the sales and servicing of the BMO Global Asset Management's institutional ETF platform, with a focus on alternatives and active investment solutions in Western Canada. This role is pivotal in advancing BMO GAM's institutional growth strategy by building strong relationships with sophisticated institutional investors.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead institutional sales efforts with emphasis on BMO GAM's ETF platform.
  • Drive growth in alternatives and active strategies aligned with client objectives.
  • Identify and convert new institutional relationships through proactive outreach.
  • Provide consultative advice on asset allocation and portfolio construction.
  • Maintain strong relationships with institutional clients and ensure high-quality service.
  • Develop and execute an annual territory business plan to achieve growth targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated institutional solutions.
  • Enhance BMO GAM's brand through thought leadership and public speaking.

Required skills

  • Minimum 10 years of institutional investment sales experience.
