Overview

The Director - Enterprise Strategy & Business Development at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare is a critical role responsible for developing and delivering strategic and tactical information while leading a team in strategic analyses and business planning. This position focuses on identifying growth opportunities and supporting the implementation of the organization's strategic plans in a healthcare setting, emphasizing the importance of community care and excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee a team to produce strategic analyses, business plans, and recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities for future business development and growth.
  • Act as an expert resource for market research and strategic implementation.
  • Develop and organize strategic plans based on market trends.
  • Lead a team to collect and validate data for strategic planning initiatives.
  • Manage development of certificate of need (CON) strategy and applications.
  • Synthesize complex information for executive level communication.
  • Promote staff professional growth and maintain a quality-conscious workforce.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration.
  • Seven years of experience in healthcare strategy or consulting.
  • Experience managing and developing individuals and teams.
  • Technical expertise in healthcare strategic planning and service line strategy.
  • Ability to conduct strategy-level financial modeling.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Tableau.
  • Experience with Epic and Workday preferred.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
