Overview

The Director of Engineering/Environmental-Project Management Office at PacifiCorp is responsible for managing the Rocky Mountain Power Project Management Office and overseeing a range of operations that impact corporate objectives. This role involves strategic planning, resource allocation, and the development of management practices within a multi-functional team to ensure environmental compliance and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the Rocky Mountain Power Project Management Office.
  • Establish strategic business objectives and plans.
  • Implement and support company programs and policies.
  • Oversee engineering and environmental operations and compliance.
  • Assist in the development of the annual asset investment plan.
  • Prepare expert testimony for regulatory proceedings.
  • Lead data responses and correspondence with PUCs.
  • Facilitate employee coaching and performance feedback.
  • Monitor industry practices and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee special projects and process-centered transitions.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years in plant operations, maintenance, engineering, or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years in people management
  • Skills in strategic planning, policy execution, and resource management
  • Knowledge of federal and state safety and environmental regulations
  • Experience with electrical generation facilities design and operation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
