Overview

The Director, Commissioning & Project Execution at PwrQ Holdings LLC is a senior technical and program leadership role responsible for overseeing commissioning programs for critical power infrastructure in the data center market. This role combines hands-on field expertise with program management and team leadership to ensure the effective delivery of commissioning and onsite services while managing a team of field service project managers.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and execute remote and onsite commissioning programs
  • Provide hands-on technical support during equipment commissioning and troubleshooting activities
  • Serve as the primary technical escalation point for field service teams
  • Develop and maintain commissioning procedures, work instructions, and test protocols
  • Track commissioning activities and prepare comprehensive reports
  • Coordinate closely with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and field service teams
  • Lead and mentor a team of field service project managers
  • Ensure execution of services projects on schedule and within budget

Required skills

  • Minimum 12 years of mission critical infrastructure experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on electrical testing and commissioning experience
  • Four-year ABET-accredited degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
  • Demonstrated experience commissioning medium- and low-voltage power systems
  • Strong understanding of safety practices including lock-out/tag-out and arc flash mitigation
  • Experience with commissioning platforms such as CxAlloy or PowerDB
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to lead teams and manage multiple commissioning efforts
