Overview

The Director, Commercial Forecasting & Analytics at Jazz Pharmaceuticals plays a crucial role in the Corporate Strategy team, reporting to the Senior Director. This position involves leading forecasting activities for the company's sleep franchise, providing strategic insights that influence decision-making, and collaborating with cross-functional partners to assess commercial potential and resource allocation.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead forecasting activities and business processes for the sleep franchise.
  • Develop and govern forecasting and financial models for marketed products.
  • Drive complex, high-visibility projects with minimal oversight.
  • Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders across various teams.
  • Design strategic analytics and insights generation to inform decision-making.
  • Frame business questions and conduct rigorous analyses.
  • Oversee product fact development and enhancement.
  • Direct SOX compliance and audit activities related to forecasting.

Required skills

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial forecasting and analytics in the biopharma industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to navigate a matrixed organization and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in scenario planning and risk modeling.
  • Knowledge of the biopharma value chain with a focus on neuroscience preferred.

  • Base pay range of $188,000.00 - $282,000.00, based on qualifications and experience.
