The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the operations of hospitals and/or clinics, ensuring efficient service delivery and promoting a collaborative work environment. Key duties include implementing strategic plans, managing budgets, ensuring compliance, and enhancing patient experience. The role involves tracking performance, reporting, and driving process improvements, all aligned with Mercy's mission and vision. Position Details: Minimum Qualifications: Experience:Five (5) years' experience demonstrating capabilities and success applicable to the role. Demonstrated experience may be gained from prior operational management and/or leadership roles, through completion of college degrees, or a combination of applicable professional and educational experiences. Skills, Knowledge Abilities:Strong leadership and team-building skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrategic and analytical skillsFinancial acumen and budget managementKnowledge of healthcare regulations and complianceAbility to drive process improvements and enhance operational efficienciesAdvanced knowledge of healthcare operations and patient-centered care practicesKnowledge of resource management and continuous improvement methodologiesEducation: High school diploma or equivalent.Preferred Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, operations management, healthcare administration, or a related field.Experience: Ten (10) years of experience in healthcare operations management.
