Overview

The Director, Client Executive at BNY will be part of the Banks, Broker-Dealers, & Insurance team in either Boston or New York. This role is focused on managing existing client relationships with significant revenue impact, driving new client acquisitions, and facilitating executive engagement to enhance commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage commercial health and profitability of existing client relationships worth approximately $25 to $50 million annually
  • Identify and lead new client acquisition efforts across the enterprise and externally
  • Lead Asset Servicing Client Coverage in Boston or New York, engaging with senior executives
  • Collaborate closely with various business lines and senior management to drive commercial outcomes
  • Build BNY's presence in the market through participation in events, forums, and conferences

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience; advanced degree preferred
  • 10-12 years of professional experience in client management with commercial accountability
  • Experience in the financial services sector, particularly in asset servicing and custody
  • Proven track record in managing various client types including Registered Funds and Insurance accounts
  • Ability to capture wallet share through proactive client management practices
  • Experience in developing new client relationships from prospecting to conversion
  • Strong problem-solving skills to collaborate with the organization
