Overview

Olymel is seeking a Director for its Corporate Project Management Office (PMO) who will ensure the coherence and discipline of the company's strategic portfolio. This strategic role is at the heart of executive decision-making and requires strong judgment, credibility, and the ability to navigate complex environments without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.

Key responsibilities

  • Align initiatives with strategic priorities
  • Arbitrate demand versus organizational capacity
  • Stabilize execution and reduce resource conflicts
  • Enhance decision predictability and quality
  • Define and frame the admission process for new initiatives
  • Consolidate and analyze project demand and organizational capacity
  • Prepare and lead portfolio reviews with senior management
  • Formulate clear recommendations: prioritize, sequence, stop
  • Implement simple, structured governance without duplication
  • Lead and develop a small specialized team

Required skills

  • 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in portfolio, transformation, strategy, or complex projects
  • Strong experience collaborating with senior management
  • Experience in complex or matrix environments
  • Proven team management skills
  • Deep understanding of operational, financial, and organizational issues
  • Experience in creating or transforming a corporate PMO (important asset)
  • Executive leadership
