Overview

Olymel is seeking a Director of Optimization and Projects to join their dynamic team in Boucherville, Quebec. This role is pivotal in managing optimization, automation, and digital transformation projects within the supply chain, with a focus on creating sustainable value through collaboration between business experts and IT teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify operational processes to improve, automate, or digitally transform in collaboration with sector directors
  • Lead and structure automation projects aimed at enhancing performance, operational efficiency, and data quality
  • Support digital transformation in the supply chain by implementing new tools, processes, and methodologies
  • Act as a convergence point between business teams and IT, including advanced analytics and AI teams
  • Coordinate, prioritize, and track AI projects from ideation to implementation within the supply chain
  • Assist teams in managing change associated with evolving processes, tools, and technologies
  • Define performance indicators, dashboards, and monitoring mechanisms to measure benefits of deployed initiatives
  • Ensure alignment between annual action plans, optimization projects, and the strategic directions of the vicepresidency
  • Monitor best practices in optimization, automation, and digital transformation of the supply chain
  • Actively contribute to the dissemination and deployment of best practices across the organization
