Overview

Olymel is seeking a Director of Projects for their poultry division to lead engineering and continuous improvement projects from planning to implementation. The ideal candidate will help ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and standards while engaging stakeholders and prioritizing health and safety in decision-making.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage projects from start to finish (scope, budget, timelines, quality)
  • Ensure accountability and track performance indicators
  • Apply project management frameworks (processes, documentation, compliance)
  • Coordinate stakeholders and manage issues/risks to ensure execution
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices, tools, and standards

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with project management experience
  • Leadership skills and excellent communication abilities
  • Mastery of project management tools and methods
  • Analytical skills and ability to prioritize in a multi-project context
  • Knowledge of agro-food or manufacturing environments (asset)
  • Willingness to travel across establishments in Canada
