Overview

As a Direct Support Program Supervisor at Sevita, you will play a critical role in enhancing the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This mission-driven position involves overseeing a team of caregivers, facilitating the implementation of Individual Service Plans, and ensuring that individuals receive the necessary support in their daily activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of caregivers supporting individuals in the program
  • Facilitate the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP)
  • Assist individuals with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care
  • Participate in administrative duties including staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight
  • Provide transportation for individuals to community outings or work activities
  • Ensure organizational maintenance of staffing and schedules

Required skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One year of related work experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance
  • Certification or licensure as required by regulatory authority
