Job Description

Overview

As a Direct Support Professional - Team Lead at Sevita, you will provide leadership and supervision to staff while directly supporting individuals with brain, spinal cord, and complex medical challenges. Your role involves assisting with training, overseeing documentation, and implementing individual treatment plans in a dynamic and diverse work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and supervision to staff in residences and community settings
  • Support individuals served by delivering direct services and skills training
  • Attend training for individuals to ensure objectives and company goals are met
  • Coordinate and implement shift objectives based on individual plans
  • Participate in community outings and orient new employees
  • Review progress of individuals served and assist with staffing and recruitment

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of experience in human services
  • Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
