Overview

Sevita is looking for a Direct Support Professional Float to join their mission-driven team in Duluth, Minnesota. The role involves providing community-based services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them grow, learn, and enjoy fulfilling lives. Full time responsibilities include supporting personal hygiene, assisting with developmental goals, and fostering meaningful relationships with participants.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with personal hygiene and other complex needs
  • Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
  • Develop meaningful relationships with the individuals served
  • Take initiative to help participants enjoy community activities
  • Work in multiple houses and maintain flexible hours

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (not required)
  • Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
