Overview

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Rudolph Community and Care, you will provide essential person-centered support to individuals with mental illnesses and developmental disabilities. This role involves direct care, medication administration, and community engagement, all while contributing to a positive environment aligned with the company's core values.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide direct care to individuals served
  • Monitor and maintain the safety and health of individuals
  • Interact with individuals receiving services
  • Administer medication
  • Maintain home and client needs through cooking and cleaning
  • De-escalate interfering behavior
  • Participate in community activities and social experiences with individuals
  • Share behavioral, health, and program concerns with supervisor
  • Support personal hygiene and grooming, including bathing and toileting
