Job Description

Overview

Rudolph Community & Care is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide person-centered support to individuals with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities. This role involves direct care, medication administration, and engagement in community activities, while also prioritizing the safety and health of the individuals served.

Key responsibilities

  • Provides direct care to person-served
  • Monitors and maintains safety and health of individuals
  • Interacts with individuals receiving services
  • Administers medication
  • Maintains home and needs of client by cooking, cleaning, etc.
  • De-escalates interfering behavior
  • Participates in activities and social experiences within the community
  • Shares behavioral, health, and program concerns with supervisor
  • Supports personal hygiene and grooming, including bathing and toileting
