Overview

Pinnacle Services is seeking dedicated and caring individuals to join their team as Direct Support Professionals in Champlin, Minnesota. This role involves assisting individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and behavioral issues in a residential setting, focusing on supporting them to achieve life skills and personal goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist persons served with personal and medical cares, including dressing and bathing
  • Meal planning and preparation
  • Facilitate community activities using company vehicles
  • Implement behavior management techniques
  • Administer medications

Required skills

  • Passion for helping others
  • Ability to assist individuals with varying needs
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Current driver's license and auto insurance
  • Reliable transportation
  • Background check clearance
  • Previous direct care experience (preferred)
  • CPR/AED certification (will train if missing)
