Overview

Sevita, a provider of community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Grand Forks, ND. This role focuses on helping individuals grow and live fulfilling lives through meaningful relationships and support, while working within a mission-driven team.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living activities
  • Support individuals with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
  • Help participants engage with the community and participate in their favorite activities
  • Build meaningful relationships with those served
  • Demonstrate initiative and provide compassionate care

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
