Overview

Sevita is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this role, you will help participants grow, learn, and live well by developing meaningful relationships and supporting their personal and developmental goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with personal hygiene
  • Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
  • Encourage community participation and engagement in favorite activities
  • Develop meaningful relationships with the individuals served
  • Take initiative to support participants with behavioral challenges and complex needs
