Overview

As a Direct Support Professional at Sevita, you will provide community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This rewarding role involves creating meaningful relationships and helping participants achieve their developmental goals while promoting their independence.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with personal hygiene and daily activities
  • Support participants with behavioral challenges and complex needs
  • Help participants achieve developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
  • Foster meaningful relationships with the individuals served
  • Take initiative to involve participants in community activities

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred

  • Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle
