Overview

Sevita, through its D&S Community Services division, offers community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a Direct Support Professional, you will create meaningful relationships and support participants in achieving their personal goals while working in a caring and mission-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Help individuals grow, learn, and live well
  • Develop real, meaningful relationships with participants
  • Support participants with personal hygiene and behavioral challenges
  • Assist with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
  • Take initiative to help participants engage in community activities

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
