Overview

As a Direct Support Professional at Sevita, you will provide community-based services aimed at supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role involves building meaningful relationships and helping participants achieve their developmental goals in a mission-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with personal hygiene
  • Support participants in achieving developmental goals like budgeting and nutrition
  • Help participants be part of the community and engage in activities
  • Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals served
  • Take initiative in supporting participants with behavioral challenges and complex needs

Required skills

  • Valid Driver's License and access to a registered vehicle

  • Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
