Overview

NeuroRestorative, part of the Sevita family, offers rehabilitation services for individuals with brain, spinal cord, and complex medical challenges. The Direct Support Professional (DSP) team lead will provide essential training, assistance, and supervision to clients, supporting their daily living skills and promoting community involvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide training, assistance, and supervision to individuals receiving care
  • Assist with daily activities like meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration
  • Facilitate relationships between employers and individuals served
  • Support community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Six months to one year of experience in the human services field
  • Valid Driver's License from state of residence
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Caring attitude and dedication to assisting others
  • Reliable and responsible attitude
